MUSIC TRIVIA NIGHT — This hilarious musical game night took place for the first time ever on October 6th, 2022, at Ireland’s Four Provinces. More than a hundred members of our FCCPS community gathered to enjoy dinner and drinks while competing to recognize the most songs. Prizes included gift certificates to local businesses, concert tickets, and a weekend at an amazing beach house. This event returns this October with the theme of decades as well as a costume contest and bingo!

MICKEY’S MUSIC SPECTACULAR — In an interactive concert/activity, this annual ticketed event is programmed and designed for a younger audience, who are encouraged to wear costumes to the performance. The concert is held in the auditorium at Meridian High School in October.  Our high school and middle school singers present music from Disney movies and shows, followed by tasty treats and exciting activities with little ones in the cafeteria.  Additionally the proceeds of the event go towards the MHS spring choir trip.

POINSETTIA SALE — Choral Boosters sponsors an annual poinsettia sale, offering plants in multiple sizes and colors to the FCCPS community.  To meet the requirements of the supplying nursery (Meadows Farms), orders must be placed by early November.  Poinsettias are available for pick up at the high school around the time of the middle school and high school winter concerts in mid December.

GIVING TREE — Patrons attending the winter concerts are able to select specified “gifts” to support choral programs, including sheet music, uniform accessories, scholarship contributions, audition fees for District Chorus, support for private lessons, etc.

BROADWAY DESSERTS — Combining fun music and tasty treats, Broadway Desserts is an annual ticketed performance of solo and ensemble favorites from Broadway shows presented by high school and middle school students in February.  Students donate desserts, which are served at intermission by parent volunteers, who also help with set-up and clean-up.

KARAOKE NIGHT — On March 30th, 2023, the Choral Boosters hosted their inaugural Karaoke Night as a smashing success at Clare & Don’s. Middle and high schoolers regaled families of all ages with Broadway tunes and pop hits. Parents participated in the fun by singing as well. Mark Hazan and James Pizzirusso’s Falls Church City rap highlighted our favorite places in the Little City. Choral Boosters looks forward to hosting again next year! VIEW PHOTOS AND VIDEO HERE.
